For coaches, facilitators and future trainers

Your transformation may be ready to become a way of guiding others.

The Elite Mentorship Trainer pathway is for people who want more than coaching knowledge. It develops the person behind the trainer, the ability to facilitate meaningful change and the practical structure needed to step forward with greater confidence.

Becoming a trainer is not only about content delivery. It is also about community experience, leadership presence and learning how to hold transformation in a way that other people can trust.

Start with an honest conversation. No pressure to force a trainer path that does not fit where you are now.

The gap many future trainers feel

Knowing how to coach is not the same as knowing how to build a trainer path.

You may care deeply about helping people and still feel uncertain about delivery, enrolment, confidence, business structure or how to turn knowledge into an experience that truly lands.

Skill without structure

You know how to support people, but not yet how to organise the work.

Many coaching programmes teach one-to-one technique while leaving business structure, enrolment, agreements, delivery rhythm and community building largely untouched.

Purpose without confidence

You feel called to guide others, but doubt still slows you down.

The obstacle is not always missing information. It can be the identity shift from learner to trainer, from private ambition to visible leadership.

Vision without support

You can see what might be possible, but doing it alone feels heavy.

A peer environment, accountability and access to experienced guidance can help turn an isolated idea into a more grounded professional direction.

What EMT is designed to develop

The trainer is part of the transformation environment.

Effective facilitation is not only about knowing the material. It requires personal congruence, practical skill, emotional steadiness and the ability to create conditions in which other people can engage honestly.

Personal and trainer foundation

Develop the person who leads the room.

  • Examine values, identity, limiting beliefs and the patterns that affect how you lead.
  • Strengthen facilitation, communication, group guidance and meaningful conversation.

Structure and support

Translate insight into a credible professional path.

  • Understand enrolment, professional agreements, delivery and the practical reality around the work.
  • Learn alongside peers who are also turning personal development into responsible guidance.

A participant journey

From outward success and exhaustion to business ownership, training and renewed direction.

One participant entered EMT after earlier coach training had taught her how to work with people, but had not given her the business structure, marketing, enrolment or professional infrastructure she needed to move forward.

“Joining the EMT Program was not just about creating a new career. It was about investing in my own development.”

EMT participant reflection

Her life looked successful from the outside, yet work pressure, caregiving, relationship strain, exhaustion and grief had brought her to a point where continuing in the same way no longer felt acceptable.

EMF introduced a different way of looking at her life. EMT then gave her a route for turning that growth into service, supported by a wider trainer community and practical development around the work.

What changed for her

She moved from imagining a different future to building one.

  • Launched her own business.
  • Became a trainer within the EMF environment.
  • Started writing and contributing to books.
  • Developed her public-speaking confidence and won a speaking competition.
  • Continued meeting her accountability partner weekly for several years.

This is one participant’s experience. Individual results depend on background, effort, opportunity and continued application.

Why the peer environment matters

A trainer pathway becomes more real when you are no longer building in isolation.

The participant reflection repeatedly returns to the value of the global trainer community, responsive support, ongoing learning and a long-term accountability relationship.

  • Learn alongside people with different backgrounds and professional ambitions.
  • Receive feedback while your trainer identity and delivery style are still developing.
  • Stay connected to people who understand both the personal and practical demands of the path.
  • Use accountability to keep moving when confidence, time or circumstances become difficult.

Is EMT the right next step?

The strongest fit is not simply someone who wants a certificate.

It is someone prepared to keep developing personally, practise the craft, accept feedback and invest real attention in becoming a trustworthy guide for others.

EMT may fit when

You are ready to move from personal insight into responsible facilitation.

  • You already coach, facilitate, teach or feel strongly drawn toward it.
  • You want personal development and trainer development to reinforce each other.
  • You value structure, community, practice and accountability.
  • You are willing to become more visible and take professional action.

Another step may fit better when

Your own foundation still needs most of your attention.

  • You are mainly looking for a quick qualification or passive content.
  • You do not yet want to facilitate, lead or support other people.
  • You cannot currently give practice and personal application meaningful time.
  • Your immediate need is private support or your own EMF journey first.

Why speak with Erik

He knows the trainer pathway from the inside.

Erik was not only a participant or outside promoter. He helped create, deliver and scale the environment around EMF and EMT.

  • Co-created the Elite Mentorship Trainer programme with Peter Sage.
  • Supported trainers in sales, facilitation and the realities of running their own EMF groups.
  • Helped build trainer days, virtual alumni days, community rhythm and five-day challenge delivery.
  • Contributed to the EMF and EMT rebuild through studio production, video editing, workbooks, Eurekos delivery and automation for scale.
  • Understands the difference between being inspired by training and being ready to build a professional path around it.

A fit conversation, not a forced sale

Map the route before making the commitment.

Erik can help you examine your background, current work, readiness, expectations and the practical reality of the trainer path. When EMT is not the right next step, that should become clear too.

EMT is owned and operated by Team Sage. Current entry requirements, programme terms, availability and enrolment arrangements are confirmed through the appropriate Team Sage route.

Common questions

Clarify the trainer path before you decide.

Do I need to be an experienced coach already?

Relevant experience can help, but fit is broader than job title. Your personal foundation, readiness to practise, willingness to receive feedback and reason for becoming a trainer all matter. Current programme prerequisites should be confirmed during the conversation.

Should I complete EMF before exploring EMT?

EMF provides the personal-development foundation behind the wider environment. The right sequence depends on your prior experience and the current Team Sage entry route. Erik can help you understand which conversation should come first.

Does Erik own or directly operate EMT?

No. EMT is owned and operated by Team Sage. Erik helped co-create and build the trainer pathway and can provide an informed route into the current programme.

What happens during the EMT fit conversation?

The conversation focuses on your goals, relevant experience, readiness, intended use of the training and whether EMT appears coherent with where you are now. It is not a promise of acceptance or a substitute for Team Sage’s current enrolment conditions.

Your next step

Do not choose the trainer path because it sounds impressive. Choose it because you are ready to practise becoming the person others can trust.

Start with a direct conversation about your background, ambitions and the route that fits.
