HEA Sound Lab
Music and meditation designed to be experienced, not merely explained.
HEA Sound Lab is where Erik Bakker explores how music, voice, atmosphere and repetition can create space for reflection, regulation and meaningful inner experience.
Two creative directions
Songs that carry an idea. Meditations that hold an experience.
The public Sound Lab includes original songs and longer reflective tracks. Alongside that work, Erik is developing deeper guided meditation productions with composer Arkadius Sojka.
Why sound
Some ideas become available differently when the body can hear and feel them.
Words can explain a principle. Sound can change the conditions in which that principle is received. Rhythm, silence, voice, harmony and repetition can slow the usual mental pace and make room for a more direct encounter with an idea.
The intention is not to claim that a track can diagnose, treat or solve a person. The work is created as a reflective and experiential resource that people can approach at their own pace.
What the Sound Lab explores
- Original songs shaped around safety, identity, agency and connection
- Longer guided journeys with careful pacing and atmosphere
- Music that supports reflection without making therapeutic claims
- A developing catalogue created for repeat listening

Film and television composer, and Erik’s production partner for the deeper meditation tracks.
Creative collaboration
Producing deeper meditation tracks with Arkadius Sojka
A meeting of guided experience, composition and cinematic sound.
Erik and Arkadius have been producing deeper meditation tracks together with a shared goal: to create work that can genuinely help people slow down, listen inwardly and reconnect with what matters.
Arkadius brings cinematic composition, emotional pacing and professional production craft into the collaboration. Erik shapes the intention, spoken journey and experiential direction of each meditation.
The short studio clip gives a glimpse of that process. Behind each finished meditation sits a much larger body of work: writing, narration, composition, sound design, recording, editing, mixing and repeated listening tests.
Producing this kind of material is demanding and expensive. It asks for serious time, care and money. The aim is not to release as much as possible. It is to create tracks worth returning to, and eventually to build a paid catalogue that can sustain the work.
Featured Sound Lab journey
Miles Ahead
You do not need to see the entire road to keep moving forward.
For a long time, peace can seem like a destination waiting somewhere beyond the next achievement, answer or version of yourself. So you keep moving, trying to control the road ahead.
Miles Ahead follows the quieter transition from chasing certainty to moving with life itself. Not every wrong turn is failure. Not every delay is wasted time. The road is not only taking you somewhere. It is changing you while you travel it.
An original HEA Sound Lab track about uncertainty, surrender and quiet transformation.
A growing catalogue
The deeper meditation collection is being prepared for release.
The intention is to make selected deeper tracks available as paid releases. That creates a sustainable way to fund the production time and professional composition required to keep building the catalogue.
Pricing, licences and release dates will only be published once they are final. For now, the free meditation offers a first experience and the YouTube channel remains the place to hear the public Sound Lab work.
